The Full Story

About

There are two types of people in the world: those who find happiness in routine, home comforts, and consistency, and those who are constantly drawn to somewhere new. Explorers who crave adventure, new experiences, and unique opportunities. I’m definitely an explorer—always seeking new places, new experiences, and new opportunities, forever on a journey to discover what’s next.

Short Term

Unable to afford a house, I started exploring alternative ways of living and eventually ended up with a 40ft sailboat. It’s been an incredible adventure and a great base, although there’s always a long list of projects to tackle before I can finally cast off.

Alongside growing my online business, I also work in events, taking me all over the UK. I also spend a lot of time helping my parents, which can sometimes slow down my own projects and affect my income, but it’s something I’m happy to do.

They kindly let me stay at their home when needed, helping me avoid expensive rent and put more of what I save towards my projects and investments. It may not be the conventional route, but it’s helping me build towards the lifestyle I want.

Medium Term

I’d love to buy a van and convert it into a comfortable mobile space. The idea would be to head off on adventures during spring and autumn, when the weather isn’t always ideal for life on the boat. It would also replace my high-mileage 2009 car, giving me something more practical for my event and gig work, while doubling as a mobile studio.

During the summer, I’d love to make the most of the boat by heading to quiet anchorages and living “off the hook” for a few months. It would give me the freedom to explore remote places that are difficult to reach by land and embrace a more adventurous way of life.

Long Term

Build a small homestead somewhere warm and live a more semi-off-grid lifestyle. I’m fascinated by the idea of simple, self-sufficient living and love YouTube channels like Living Big in a Tiny House for inspiration.

To make all these plans and adventures possible, I need to keep building sustainable sources of income.
