How to remove scratches from car

Stone chips and scratches: My 2009 Insignia, now with 168,000 miles, has been a great motorway cruiser over the years. However, the mileage and age are definitely starting to show on the paintwork. Most of the scratches are fine lines from brushing against hedges and bushes, along with plenty of stone chips—thanks in part to a salt spreader that seemed to launch rock salt straight at the car!
I went for a company called "Chip Ex" and got the kit from Amazon https://amzn.to/464ZysQ when you order it matches the paint exactly using a questionnaire. I remember it taking 4-5 days to arrive. The whole process was very easy which I outline in the video along with before and after.
What to expect?
The instructions were great it is a time consuming process if your doing lots of spots and you will get rid of medium to deep scratches using the kit. I washed my car first with a jet wash and Meguiar's gold wash. I used this as it does not contain wax. When I applied the paint on a spot and left it for an 1-2 hours in warm dry condtions. I did find the paint wipe off which I was disapointed as first. But I gave it a second chance and left the paint over night this time. When I did the 3rd stage where your wiping/polishing it off the paint looked amazing! So I would chose an evening where it's not going to rain and leave it over night. My car after I did the process looked very good espically when I detailed it a couple days later with the Meguiars ceramic kit
