I love the sun, the sand, and the beach—but then again, who doesn't?

This week I've been on a family holiday.....kinda. I pretty much drive my parents around and help look after my niece who is a super energetic outdoor girl. We do a few staycations in the UK mainly because of my parents being older, one with health issues so their insurance for a "Real Holiday" is super expensive. So the 6 of us typically head over to the west coast of Wales which is where my sister got married and they eventually want to move to. We tend to beach hop with my personal favourite as Aberporth, it's within a small sheltered bay with a carpark, toilets, chipshop and cafe. Basically everything you need for the day with ease. My second favorite beach is "poppit sands cardigan bay" which has EV parking, a Cafe and the beach is powdery sand, lots of waves good for learning to surf and a short drive to Cardigan which is a nice little town with a castle and some great restaurants! We introduced both paddleboarding and body boarding for my niece on this trip, which she loved! This meant a quick pitstop to one of my favourite stores "SaltRock" to buy the body board and add to my T-shirt collection! I often have comments on my YouTube channel when I wear their T-shirts and I rarely go shopping, but I genuinely like the salt rock brand and in the surfing and #vanlife community you frequently see their mascot "Tok"

The SaltRock Mascot
Saltrock's iconic mascot is Tok, a wild-haired surfer boy who has become a symbol of the brand. His name is inspired by the Tokoloshe, a mischievous and supernatural creature from South African folklore. The concept for Tok was created by Saltrock founders Angus and Ross, drawing inspiration from their time in Salt Rock, South Africa.
Tok captures the adventurous, fun-loving, and rebellious spirit of the Saltrock brand. Often portrayed as a playful troublemaker, he appears in a variety of forms, ranging from a cheeky surfer character to a more mysterious and mischievous figure.
Best recognised as Saltrock's distinctive red logo, Tok also features across a wide range of the brand's products. He is especially popular on boys' and men's clothing, where he appears as a bold graphic design. Tok is also the central character in some of Saltrock's most recognisable artwork, including the popular "See No Surf, Hear No Surf, Pray For Surf" and "Stamp" prints.
