That said, here’s a detailed breakdown of what four years of boat ownership has looked like for me, including real-world costs and lessons learned from life aboard.

The boat cost me £44,000. Finance on the boat cost me £3000. On average I have spent around £2000 a year on Maintenance and around £2000 on mooring fees. but my marina is a lot cheaper than most.
